Few brands can boast a heritage as rich as Zodiac, whose origins date back to the early 19th century when Jacob Calame established himself as a watchmaker in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. By 1882, Jacobs descendant, Ariste Calame, had returned to the familys ancestral home in Le Locle and founded his own watch-making workshop. The company grew dramatically in size and scope over the next two decades.

As the years passed, world events and the developments of new technologies radically transformed the watch industry, and Zodiac kept pace. Astute management and quality craftsmanship provided the impetus for continued expansions and an international reputation for quality and innovation.

Today, Zodiac celebrates its rich Swiss watch making tradition with fresh designs that address a selected range of contemporary tastes, while maintaining their classic elegance.
